WHAT'S GAEM GAEM stands for Graphical Adventure tiny-Engine for Mobiles. It was originally conceived as my final project while studying multimedia at CITM. The principal use for it is to interpret some text files with the correct data, plus some images supplied, and generate the scenario, the player and implement some basic functions for this kind of games (look at, grab, ...). The idea was created some months/year(s) ago when J2ME was not as widely implemented in devices as today, fortunately each device shipping now has Java Micro Edition and MIDP version 2.0 support. GAEM was conceived and developed by Victor Borrull, an individual who aspire to make himself a place within the game industry. My principal interest now goes for games for wireless and mobile devices. Feel free to contact me for anything through e-mail: victorborrull (at) terra.es |
